1116814 2010-07-07 04:03:00 Anyone trying this? For a beta product it is very stable (never crashed over a few days). More stable than FF3.6 for me but that may be because Minefield has no addons to speak of! It has installed quite a few Extensions, however.

The only thing I miss ATM is google toolbar.

1116815 2010-07-07 04:05:00 Didn't realise the beta was out yet.

What are a few of the major changes?

1116816 2010-07-07 04:11:00 can you install it along side the current release or do you have to uninstall the older version first? GameJunkie (72)

1116819 2010-07-07 09:11:00 Here is the nightly build site http://nightly.mozilla.org/

It updates in situ.

It installs alongside FF but picks up on all the favourites/bookmark toolbars etc.

Even after a few days it is now my default browser - for better or worse.

Pretty hard to see any obvious great improvements but it is faster at rendering and (for me) more stable - no crashes so far.

1116822 2010-07-07 09:58:00 A point I forgot to mention. If you want a Flash Player installed, install the 32bit Minefield as there is no 64bit Flash. linw (53)
