828109 2009-11-08 04:29:00 Every time I open - say, this web site (pressf1.pcworld.co.nz - etc), I lose the font size I have set and wonder if PCLOS just forgets or this is what it just "does"?

I have to re-set it every time I reload a page here. - or anywhere for that matter. Is there any way to make the font size STAY where I set it even with a reboot?

828111 2009-11-08 06:59:00 I have KDE running here. OK by me. SurferJoe46 (51)
828112 2009-11-08 07:16:00 KDE is not the preferred desktop for Ubuntu, Windows or Mac.

I cannot think of higher praise. ;)

828113 2009-11-08 07:18:00 Are you setting the font size via KDE or your browser. What browser are you using? Jen (38)
828114 2009-11-08 22:09:00 I just use [ctrl] [+] or [ctrl] [-] to adjust the font size (in Firefox) and the page/font size is repeated on the next visit to the site. At the moment my glasses are resting on the desk, and Jen's Avatar is 1 1/2" wide (but still blurry). If I return to this site with my glasses on, it is going to look "Whoa - big".

It does the same thing in Winderz too.

Sorry to be so late Jen - I was out of town for the day .

I guess I supposed that I goofed and did it in the browser - but I use both Google/Firefox and Chrome whichever one I hit first .

Maybe I should look into doing it in the settings for PCL .

Another question, Jen: Is there any way to chat on GTalk in PCL?
