He has a Ferrari, and his comment is a "great car to own and drive bur one cannot park it anywhere and leave, because some *rs*hole with come and tear the badges off it, coin it or vandalise it in some other way", better to have something that performs esell is reliable and does not draw attention. Another salutory tale from the UK - an RAF colleage had a Porsche 911, he was clocked at 110 mph on the A1, his prosecution notice stated the make of car he was driving - He went to court - those doing similar speeds in Fords etc did not have their make of car named - the standard fine was round 200 pounds - my colleague got handed down a fine of 1000 pounds - obviously he could afford it being a Porsche owner. At that speed a Porsche is certainly safer than a Ford. |
