828425 2009-11-09 07:32:00 I can watch DVB-S, DVB-T or analogue, without any set top box at all, and with 1.2TB or so of storage. Still doesn't make me want to watch TV though, when the 'puter is only a mouse click away.

I think the Haupauge (How DO you pronounce that?) was not a great investment really. At least it is only one remote for the lot :D

828428 2009-11-09 10:06:00 Tc are charging $499 to install it of $15 a week for there decoder trouble is they are limited as to what channels they can get cause of the contract with sky. Hitech (9024)
828429 2009-11-09 16:14:00 Getting back to the original post it sounds like it has some nice features - Youtube, GPS, email etc, more like a PC on your tv. Digby (677)
828430 2009-11-09 18:40:00 Hopefully it's hackable.

I doubt it though. TC won't want to run the risk of easy 1080p piracy.

All I wanted was tetris on my tv! I swear!

828431 2009-11-09 20:16:00 Thats more than likely why there is a delay in launching the stb to make sure you can't hack your way into it lol. Hitech (9024)
