| 828390 | 2009-11-10 00:15:00 | Apparently Google maps are becoming increasing popular for businesses worldwide - as businesses can easily get listed and displayed in the "10 or 8 pack" which shows local listings (Google - Pizza or Wine to see what I mean).So good for increased hits...and business. They also have made results more user generated - i.e. more options for display. I get more about 5 x visitors to my hotel review site from utilizing Google maps than from standard search. Google have now made listings a bit more involved to reduce false business physical listings including dropping PO No.'s as described at Search Engine Land (searchengineland.com)... |
