I find this offensive. LL

I agree, but don't complain here, report it to the Mods or counter with an e-vagina (we'll see how long that lasts).

I had a damned funny joke taken down once because it made reference to a well-known brown ethic group in the same joke as a crime. Somebody must have felt dyspeptic and reported it.

Cheers

828228 2009-11-08 22:15:00 Did the son sign a tenancy agreement? Was a bond paid? But more importantly why does your son think he can live rent free? Sweep (90)
828229 2009-11-08 23:34:00 Having rented out a house I'm pretty sure that you CANNOT hold onto a tenants personal property in lieu of rent (ring Dept of Building & Housing - 0800 83 62 62 for some advice). ManUFan (7602)
828230 2009-11-08 23:34:00 Um ..........i have a query, is this rent for when son was living there? or time he has been inside? seems unfair if he is charging the kid if he cant even live there?????? and keeping the room for him knowing he cant live there.
i may have missed that point somewhere maybe?

but yes sometimes sucking it up and paying the money may help in the long run, even tho it may feel wrong and you dont want to do that.

life is never easy or fair it seems, good luck with the decision, and hopefully all can be resolved quickly.

maybe not what you wanted to hear.

Slightly off topic, but isn't the accused reminded to tidy up his affairs if the chance of jail is real?
