830381 2009-11-16 01:46:00 Only 2 hours

I sat their for the whole 3 and still didn't answer all the Q's .

No matter, the new format is apparently easier to pass.

How many papers? I had four - Trig, Calculus, Graphs and Co-ordinate Geometry. All of them are much easier and quicker on a graphics calculator. :D

Not looking forward to English on Thursday, 3 essays :groan::sleep.

Plus a Q/A paper. That's not going to be easy.

830383 2009-11-16 01:53:00 Yes. Although for Solving Equations, for Excellence, the calculator can only get you so far. pcuser42 (130)

Ah, that'll be partly why, I had 5 (Graphs, Calc, Co-ordinate geometry, Sequences, Trig).

Which one is the Q/A paper?

Don't think I have to do that one, I've only got to analyze 2 poems, an extended text, and a film.

830387 2009-11-16 02:44:00 Had an interesting exercise the other day. I was no good at maths at school and totally flummoxed by the binomial theorem and quadratic equations. So I decided I would look these beasts up in Wikipedia, to see if I was able to understand them many decades later. I spent about an hour in the Wikipedia maths pages, with the result that I have now decided I am still no good at maths. Richard (739)

830390 2009-11-16 03:17:00 Yep, failed in year 12 but decided to give it another crack, so in year 13 was put in the lowest year 12 maths class. Probaly could of passed but by that point me and school no longer clicked so I didnt get a lot of learning done the whole year hueybot3000 (3646)
