| 830918 | 2009-11-17 05:03:00 | Hi forum-ers I need a new laptop as my old asus blew up on me due to overheating the motherboard. I have got a friend who can help me get a sony vaio laptop imported and I am stuck between the vaio Sr and Z-series. I'm not much of a tech-know person but besides the cost is there anything significant between each of the laptops? My main concern is their fan noise. Any recommendations of either or? |

The z-series is worth its value for the price i.e. an awesome long-as life battery, but the sr-series is just as tempting bcuz of the ATI hd4750 which is > than the GeForce 9300mGS (or so i was told)... P.S. ne1 else interested in buying the LATEST SR or Z series? PM me :P |

Bcuz my last laptop was an Asus F3J and the motherboard died on me, plus it kept constantly overheating even when i am doing just non-demanding things like checking emails or typing up an essay . Sony looks pretty appealing at the moment bcuz of their build quality, plus I can get the latest SR-series from my m8 for a v . good price . My dilemma knw is whether to get Z or Sr series |
