830665 2009-11-16 03:59:00 I need a new transponder key for my car. I dropped my key and it's not working now. I have been told i could buy a new transponder key from my car manufacturer or for less cost get a locksmith to make me a new one.

Which is better?

And do the transponder keys have a battery in them or just a radio chip without a battery?

However if you lost the master key you still had the spare key but couldn't get a copy from it.
You would have to pay moonbeams at Henrys to get a master key set up more than what the Tragic was worth.
I exchanged my Tragic for 24 bottles of Heinken and bought an older dual wheeled truck.

830668 2009-11-16 08:04:00 The master key would only be useful for opening the glovebox & sometimes the boot. A tranny van ain't got a boot. The transponder would be the same as it's only for the immobiliser system Phil B (648)
