In Vista the sound icon in the hidden icons area near the clock has disappeared.
How do I get the sound icon back? |

Dont have a Vista PC at the moment, but in W7 you right click the task bar/Properties / Under Notification Area, Customize / Locate the Speaker Icon - always show (or something similar) Vista is close to the same setup as W7 in this regard. Picture from another site (i.t.com.com) |

Right click on the start bar select properties then customise and it should be one of the options. Are your speakers still working? Snap beaten to it just |
