1118662 2010-07-14 03:51:00 I figured out why my documents and email text looked huge because the Zoom setting somehow got to 150%. So I changed it to 100% and now all is correct.
It does however for no reason jump back to 150% and back to large letters.

Seems strange is there a way to make the setting stay? Cheers

1118663 2010-07-14 07:15:00 When you start a new message using Microsoft Word 97 (WordMail) as the e- mail editor, the text appears smaller than expected. If you change the percentage of zoom in the new message, Outlook may not retain the change the next time you start it.

RESOLUTION
You can change the percentage of zoom in the Normal template file, Normal.dot,...
You can change the percentage of zoom in the Normal template file, Normal.dot, in Word.

NOTE: Font characteristics and other formatting are stored in the Word template you are actually using in WordMail. The default is Email.dot.

To modify the Normal template, follow these steps:

1. Quit Outlook. Make sure you close any e-mail messages, contacts, appointments, or any other Outlook related windows you may have open.
2. Start Word.
3. On the File menu, click Open.
4. Change the Files Of Type to Document Templates (*.dot).
5. Select Normal.dot and click Open.

NOTE: The default location is in
c:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Templates.
6. On the View menu, click Zoom.
7. Under Zoom To, click the percentage you want, and click OK.
8. On the File menu, click Close.
9. On the File menu, click Exit. If prompted to save changes, click Yes.

Now when you restart Outlook, the zoom percentage will be as you set it in the template.
