I searched on facebook and there is not that many people signed up to those acc levy protest groups, in fact there is a group that seems to be anti acc protesters: www.facebook.com If nz was out of the recession would acc levy prices fall? |

It has nothing to do with recession and everything to do with taxing the populace until they break. ACC want to collect an 11 billion dollar slush fund, Motorcycles make up a tiny amount of contributors and are easy to tax so they have been hit hard and early, Now ask yourself where the rest of the billions they intend to collect are going to come from..... |

ACC is not meant to be a fully funded operation. The National government is going to do what the last did. It'll be privatised for a year (maybe two) then the next government will change it back. That cost the private companies a fair bit. |
