| 832368 | 2009-11-22 01:50:00 | www.itwire.com WTF, I mean, really?:illogical Fair enough, smoking does cause a disgusting build up on surfaces.. It would be similar to having your computer located in your bathroom, where it gets subjected to steam, and hence gets damaged from that. |

| 832376 | 2009-11-22 02:18:00 | So, smokers now not only are pariahs, but are also no longer entitled to a warranty? This is a world gone Bananas!!!!!!!! smokers are entitled to warranty as are drinkers. But when you start spilling your drink over your computer it soon voids it. From what I read it had nothing to do with the fact that the owner is a smoker, it boiled down to the fact that the internals were smoked damaged (correct me if I read that wrong). Much the same as your new car warranty would be void if your engine over heated and siezed because the radiator was split from a stone. EDIT.. Would PCtech or wainuitech be honouring the warranty in the same circumstances where the damage was caused by the user? |
