| 1118592 | 2010-07-15 11:51:00 | Well you go and try it on your motherboard but don't come crying when you blast some SMD parts off it. They are held on by solder, and a drop of glue (sometimes), and not much of it at that. And solder is only for good electrical connections, it's not designed to make a strong physical connection. Ive done this exact task on 100's of computers, never, not once had a component fall off. |
