Only labor guy I ever respected although I never voted for him. Next there might be a revelation that New Zealanders dont trust real estate agents and car salesmen. Good to be in country with a on to it press. |

| 834037 | 2009-11-27 04:50:00 | Surprise!! surprise!!! Well . Who would have guessed? Fancy that . Not me! I thought they were all fine upstanding types,:xmouth: apart from the two who tried to stiff me for my fees when I did work for them . :annoyed: I lost one because he vanished from the scene, hopefully wearing concrete boots and lead overalls, and the client in the other case was so incensed when he heard what had happened that he paid me direct and said he'd recover it himself from the miserable sod who stiffed me . Another lawyer I've had dealings with has been known to publicly defend wayward brethren with a look of wide-eyed innocence . One day somebody will slip him the rubber dick and that will open his eyes . Cheers Billy 8-{) |

Overall the compensation was peanuts compared to legal costs. The lawyer also did a stuff up ... which later he went to another law firm. Partly because the lawyers were the same ethnicity as them and English wasn't their first language. |

Om checking the amounthe discovered the client had overpaid by $1000. The Dilema, Shoukld he share the over payment with his partner or keep it all for himself. |

| 834041 | 2009-11-27 16:31:00 | Prefect - You make a very good point ! Why was our news media not onto this years ago. We all know our justice system is a farce. And just because someone puts out a report, it does not mean anything will change. Goverments do what they want, when they want. And how can Miss Bazley say they (the lawyers) have three years to fix it ? |
