| 833683 | 2009-11-26 02:11:00 | There used to be numerous such shops at the station end of Jackson St, Petone. Haven't been there for yonks, but there could still be some. With the advent of TradeMe many second hand shops, and auction rooms too, have closed down. Turners Auctions have slowed right down, but they still have a furniture auction every now and then, and there is Central Markets in Lower Hutt. Turners are having an onsite furniture auction at Hazelwoods Upper Hutt in December, www.turners.co.nz and a furniture auction in January www.turners.co.nz |
