Jesper Kyd has delivered a rich orchestral treatment this time around, with full choir and haunting solo vocals. While AC1s score was largely atmospheric, delving into standard techno/electronic fare to get the heart racing- AC2 unveils a lush dark sonic world more reminiscent of Hans Zimmers rome from Gladiator than anything Kyd has done previously. Tense strings, driving choir, emotive vocal solos, spanish guitar.. its all here. The score sonically delivers a dark rennaissance world worth visiting. Hearth, Ezio’s Family, Venice Rooftops, Back In Venice, Sanctuary and the soaring Flight Over Venice cues are not to be missed.
