832670 2009-11-23 05:59:00 So the guy has a bit of fun, and lets off a bit of steam - nothing wrong with that - Hell I been to MANY boring events that put you to sleep.:sleep

When ever I have been to a Microsoft event, its usually always light hearted, but gets the message across as to what the event is relating to.

I would rather go to any event where you are kept entertained and actually learn something, rather than checking for light leaks under your eye lids.

832671 2009-11-23 08:15:00 He's not that new, and he's not particularly nuts. It's good to see bigwigs show their silly sides. Sure beats pretentious keynotes speeches from Steve Jobs. He also seems a little less weasel-ish than Gates. More human.

He's been with MS since pretty much the beginning:
"Ballmer joined Microsoft on June 11, 1980 and became Microsoft's 24th employee, the first business manager hired by Gates." -Wikipedia. He was 24 at the time. He became CEO in early 2000.

Why not judge a book by its cover as well. Keep doing that and you may miss out on a life changing experience.
