1119934 2010-07-21 09:43:00 I used to sell PC's back in the 80's and we often sold 40 meg hard rives.
We told our customers they would never fill them up!
And that 80 meg hard drives were for banks and insurance companies.

Now that will only hold 5 songs !

My first PC an XT (actually my first PC had a tape system but I don't really count it.) only had a 20MB drive and it was a pain trying to keep enough free space but would have been very happy with a 40MB at the time. Have got a 160GB and a 40GB now and have heaps of room. I'm not into storing a hundred and one movies.

same here. i do photography and i think i only have 100GB used up. that's the 2nd drive. my main drive has a partition of 80GB which 50 or 60GB is free. don't have much music on my system and no videos. the other partition is to sync stuff off my 2nd drive for backup purpose. so i have a 2 layer protection internally and a 1x external hdd (not attached to PC) plus a usb stick of my most impt files too :D
