Go to the top left corner of Northwest Arizona there and you'll see St George Utah and Mesquite Nevada, and the road in between (Hwy 15) is where that was taken . If you zoom back IN a little until you see Littlefield Arizona, than that's the place where the canyon centers upon . Most of my driving was on that one highway, I-15 (The "I" there stands for "Interstate") as I-15 runs through a lot of states, North/South-wise . Odd numbered streets/highways run North-South and even numbered ones run East-West in the US . Just fer giggles, click-and-drag the I-15 route and see what I saw and where I went .	SurferJoe46 (51)
833836	2009-11-27 17:44:00	They must be busting for a bit of rain. Actually, even though it's been many years of drought there, the reservoirs are at good levels everywhere but California where water is wasted and not taken seriously. If the reservoirs are at 60% at the beginning of the Winter/snow season, they are considered well-stocked and ready to capture snow melt next Spring. Most of the ones in SoCal are well below the minimum pool capacity and it looks bad for California when the new Colorodo River Water Apportionment Bill collapses on January first of 2010. That has the Imperial Valley and Salinas farmers all in a dither as they will lose about 60% of their farming/irrigation supplies. The Guvernator is lauding the Sacramento Back Bay Reserve laws that he just got shoved through the legislature and he thinks this is a great big thing - but that's all salt water and not useful for crops and agriculture! What a shameless waste of taxpayers' money and a very tarnished gold star for himself. It is supposed to be his big legacy move. I'll get those raw files and videos all cleaned up soon and maybe some vocal commentary or at least some good ol' rock-n-roll music to listen to as you watch the vids. I'm still having a fairly serious medical problem going on and I need to get it under control first. Thanksgiving (US-holiday) went well although I didn't go to any of the local relations houses for food and brewskies - it was in Hemet and the last time I went there I get into a rear-ender accident when a drunk hit my Isuzu and I started coughing (smog) and broke a blood vessel again in my bladder, of all places! That's the medical problem the docs at the VA and I are watching closely. I also found out that my application(s) for visas will take over six months! I gotta call Mr. Obama and complain!
