Er.the Manawatu river is in the Manawatu not SOuthland.
However I did a bit of a search and found a chart listing them all.

The Mataura - one of the main ones down here is 3rd filthiest.

Poverty rock is a nickname used by New Zealanders (born here) for Great Britain.
I am only guessing here and I am probably wrong but maybe its because the poms come out here in their droves from their home country, the place must have been **** otherwise they would have stayed there.
