Exactly, invaluable stuff, invaluable book.
I hope you do in fact have a first edition.

833361 2009-11-26 11:06:00 I have two copied of the ECB. One from the early 90's when they still had Coat N Cook for fish. And one from a couple of years ago.

Personally I still prefer the recipes from the older book.

The recipes change, and they don't always taste as nice as they used to be. e.g Choc cake.

833363 2009-11-26 19:16:00 I have 2 Edmonds cook books one from the late 60s with covers and 122 pages and another one without covers and 80 pages and at a guess from the late 40s early 50s. Could of been earlier as my grandfather on my mothers side came out from England about 1910 and lived in Waipukurau and was the baker there.
