| 836174 | 2009-12-03 09:28:00 | Is it this? Nursery Web spider and water spiders (www.tepapa.govt.nz) Large fast-moving spiders with a leg span of six centimetres or more in adult females. Males are somewhat smaller. These spiders are typically pale brown or grayish in colour with yellow bordering around the cephalothorax (the frontal portion of the spider that bears the legs, fangs, and eyes). :horrified |

Couldn't believe the amount of noise generated, first by the 8 spider legs on the sheets, second by SWMBO when the light came on!!! :D |

| 836178 | 2009-12-03 16:31:00 | Spiders!!!! Urk!!! I'm a bit arachnaphobic - I hate the damn creatures! Apparently we have something like 2500 varieties here in NZ. About a third of them are venomous, although only three can be potentially harmful to humans. But to me, anything with 8 legs is BAD news. :horrified |

| 836179 | 2009-12-03 20:04:00 | A spider? You should come here - there's literally hundreds all over the place. And really LARGE ones too, there's so many I have to totally clean out the laundry every now and then to remove the millions of nests, webs and bodies infesting it. They love Southland for some reason. |
