836136 2009-12-03 07:35:00 Ok so there are laws that make it illegal for shops to open on XMAS day with the exception of dairies/service stations/shops selling prepared or cooked food ready to be eaten immediately.

Can i sell my car privately and buy another car privately on XMAS day? By privately i mean people coming to my house to buy my car and me going to a person's house to buy their car.

836139 2009-12-03 09:19:00 What about a free Christmas Cake, ham, turkey. As long as you are not doing it commercially you can sell whatever you like on Xmas day.

is skytv allowed to offer pay per view shows on XMAS day, because they are taking money from the consumer so isn't that selling something? SO maybe the law only applies to physical "shops".
