| 834842 | 2009-11-30 00:47:00 | Yeah - a bit todo about nothing! He's a hero/celebrity here as he's so squeaky clean and has not strayed from his wife or their bed. His image and corporate relationship is predicated on Woods's choir boy presentation, which has made him one of the most closely guarded commodities in modern sport. Early in his career, he made unseemly comments about lesbians and black men in an interview with GQ magazine. Since then, he has rarely been heard unscripted. Florida police released the Tiger Woods 911 call Sunday, as Mr. Woods, for the third time in as many days, rebuffed police seeking to investigate the one-car crash that left him unconscious Friday morning. The 911 call is a static-filled, disjointed conversation in which an anonymous neighbor says he found an apparently unconscious man – never named as Woods – on his front lawn. (Read the transcript here, hear the audio here.) Woods did address the controversy publicly for the first time, though, with a 180-word statement on his website (web.tigerwoods.com) Sunday. He said the "embarrassing" situation was "his fault," and that his wife, Elin, acted "courageously." Police had said earlier that she used a golf club to break a window of the Cadillac BUT - he was driving outta his driveway either very early in the day or really late at night and his wife came after him with a golf club. SHE says it was used to extract him from the rear window of the Cadillac Escalade/SUV, but going through the rear window is kinda odd. I bet she just threw it at him as he made a hasty retreat from her. He had been caught by a few tabloids cavorting around with another woman a few weeks ago and this might be part of the comeuppance now. Funny thing is that he doesn't even have to answer ANY questions by the police as they weren't on the scene and it all happened on private property. So far he's stiff-armed the cops and refused to answer any of their questions. Booze? Drugs? Marital problems? Muffed the short game on the 4th hole? Took one too many Mulligans? Is this another OJ in the making?:xmouth: |

| 834844 | 2009-11-30 01:07:00 | Why can't the media mind their business? No wonder Tiger Woods hasn't said anything because the media will be all over it and twisting the story out of proportion. | convair (13650) | ||
| 834845 | 2009-11-30 01:10:00 | It was the media that said it wasn't it? Media is sick . The problem here was that there were no real authorities on the scene for a while and the "reports" of injury were all coming from people trying to get a headline and their fifteen minutes of glory by sending info as fast as they could . Even if it was wrong! The other problem was the neighborhood security staff which had the whole thing corralled up 'way before the real cops showed up . They have ZERO ability to be anything but knee-jerk reactive and since they're cop wanna-be's anyway, they are just itching to get a few quick posts in the scandal sheets and possibly a book deal . Yeah - the break-ins for the holiday football games and the "BULLETINS" during prime-time TV here in California (four hours later that Florida time) made for juicy gossip . Keep in mind the preemptive TMZ reports that he was foolin' around just last week and it just snowballed from there . He never even got his Cadillac air bags to deploy since the impact was so minor! Ahhh! The things about which heroes are formed and made! |

| 834847 | 2009-11-30 03:32:00 | Its stories like that which entertain the stupids. Those reporting that would have no idea if its true or not, and whatever happened, Its between him and his wife. |
