2009-12-05 17:43:00 | If we white people get together and eradicate all of the maoris there will be no more problems. And their will be no outrage because noone who cares will be left to complain. Some people are going too far with their comments on this forum. Just because Harawira got off with his comments, does not mean similar comments are acceptable on this forum. As people have found Harawira's comments offensive, your comments are equally offensive. Many of our members (and very valued members) are Maori. How do you think they feel about such comments? Although I have quoted you here, this goes for everyone who is jumping on the bandwagon thinking it is now OK to post stuff they would not have in the past. Also, while I'm at it, give the I-love-Roddy fan club a break. We get the message, there is not need to carry on taking digs at him. You wouldn't like it if you were at the receiving end of such comments. Thanks.

2009-12-05 19:47:00 | Got this one today:- Stamp Recall New Zealand Post created a stamp with a picture of Maori Politician, Hone Harawira. The stamp was not sticking to envelopes. This enraged Hone, who demanded a full investigation. After a month of testing and spending of $1.5 million of tax payers money, A special commission presented the following findings: 1. The stamp is in perfect order. 2. There is nothing wrong with the adhesive. 3. People are spitting on the wrong side of the stamp. EXCELLENT, Sweep!!!:lol::lol:

2009-12-06 00:03:00 | Lets examine the situation here. 1: I think we have established Hone Harawira is an outright Racist who is neither use nor ornament. The chances of him ever providing anything constructive or useful are less than nil. He is simply tuned to bludge as much as he can out off the ever suffering tax payers to pay for his high living and travel. 2: The Maori Party has confirmed what many of us already knew and that is they are a Racist Party by both name and nature. Their support for Harawira was all the proof needed. 3: Key is a Guilt Ridden Honky that thinks giving away large amounts of Taxpayers Money at the whim of the Maori Party is his ticket to heaven. His lack of action or condemnation of Harawiras actions is proof of that. Im sorry Mr Key but a silly grin is not what was required. However, all of this should not let us loose sight of all the good genuine Maoris out there. There are many, more than most people realise, that dont want a bar of Harawira or the Maori Party. I have many Maori friends and often share a leaner at my local pub with a hell of a fine Maori guy who spent 16 years in the SAS. He would relish the chance to put Harawira up against a wall and shoot him. I actually feel sorry for the guy because he spends so much time himself apologising for Harawira. And I never thought SAS guys apologised for anything. :dogeye: So, I guess the message is by all means deal with and deal too Harawira, his followers and the Maori Party, but dont loose sight of the decent Maoris out there and Tar them with the same brush. ;)

Their support for Harawira was all the proof needed. Amen! If we needed any more proof of a double-standard among some, imagine if I set up a Pakeha party, with similar policies to the maori party; Māori Party Policies * Māori ownership of the foreshore and the seabed * Retirement age for Māori to be reduced to 60 * Tax reductions * Teaching of Māori and Pacific history in schools So, thus, my policies would be; * Pakeha ownership of the foreshore and the seabed * Retirement age for Pakeha to be reduced to 60 * Tax reductions * Teaching of Pakeha history in schools And I would be a racist. Double standard? Surely not... So, I guess the message is by all means deal with and deal too Harawira, his followers and the Maori Party, but dont loose sight of the decent Maoris out there and Tar them with the same brush. ;) Amen! |

2009-12-06 02:48:00 | However, we should be grateful to Harawira for the fact that the Maori Party were sneaking in under the Radar of most New Zealanders and hes completely blown their cover and shown them for what they are. Geekster your reference to the Maori Party Policies is just further hard evidence of their Racist Roots. The situation must be dealt with, but the trick will be to avoid innocent victims. :annoyed:
