| 834614 | 2009-11-29 23:34:00 | Time-travel and all that nonsense would make life quite boring kinda like Doctor Manhattan in Watchmen. I want to see it happen, the whole story - not just tiny glimpses. That would be awesome. Dr Manhattan could see his entire story, he just had the ability to focus on certain parts of his timeline outside of what the people around him considered to be the present time. |

| 834617 | 2009-11-30 00:25:00 | Dunno about about superpowers, but if I could turn water into wine, I'm sure I'd find a use for it (until my liver packed up).;) Cheap-shot for yourself there, Dave. Try for a good single-malt Scotch instead! You're not thinking big enough! When I was younger and stupider (I know, an oxymoron again) I dreamed of invisibility to get into the girls' locker rooms at school - but that phase passed. Better than super powers though was that I wished for an eye on the tip of my index fingers. For the life of me I cannot remember the reason why and I'm very sure it had nothing to do with spying on girls/women. But - I bet it had sumpthin' to do with being a mechanic and needing that extra eye to see behind engine blocks and under the dash for wiring and electrical repairs. I also wanted/needed another elbow between my existing elbows and my wrists, but somehow evolution didn't work for me. If evolution was real, every mechanic would have that extra elbow by now. |

I love a warm and fuzzy guy like yourself when you come out from the hard-candy shell behind which you hide. Let's all hold hands and join Met in a chorus or two! C'mon! Don't be bashful! Let's all get in touch with our softer side - but not too often! Psssst! Wanna buy some warm pink fuzzy slippers? |

| 834619 | 2009-11-30 02:35:00 | Dr Manhattan could see his entire story, he just had the ability to focus on certain parts of his timeline outside of what the people around him considered to be the present time. Exactly, that's boring. I'd rather live through the entire Earth-Life experience. It would have been nice to how Hannibal planned and executed Cannae, and everything leading up to it holding together such a massive and diverce force for well over a decade. How Caesar was allowed to march upon Rome... I want it to be interesting. If I could go back in time, it's like being able to hit rewind and doing anything you want whenever and however you wanted. It's plain boring. It's like having 300billion Euro. What the hell are you going to do with it? You'll do everything and get bored. So as I see it, I'd like to live through the world slowly and see everything as it unfolds. Have a bit suspense, action, adventure, that kinda thing. As for all you invisibility people... Peeping Tom anyone? :p |
