1121052 2010-07-21 22:30:00 Hi,

I should know the answer to this-but must have forgotten :drool

I want to set a signature in the required "live mail" panel, but when I do, the picture, which I can bring up by itself,independently--- cannot be seen on the signature window and therefore won't install.

It says "cannot find file"

Is my old brain going more addled--as I say, on windows XP Pro I had no trouble

I am using Windows 7 Professional- so must be something elementarily wrong

In the programs - how should I give this file an acceptable title?

:help:

It either has to be text or html.

1121054 2010-07-22 04:51:00 Yes,I think what PC actualy means (or not) is you need to make a html file with the pic first, then link it...

here's an explanation (www.timeatlas.com il)

hope that helps :)

1121055 2010-07-22 22:14:00 Hi,

Thank you --I had despaired of getting a reply

The advice has now been printed- although I am still concerned as to why the computer has this picture /business card in it and I can do anything, like edit etc, but to tell windows live that -- no way jose--just says it is not on file---

Is this the same as your newly printed advice>

And can I change that "non existant " file to HTML-- it is at this moment JPEG
:thanks

1121056 2010-07-22 22:27:00 Use Nvu and insert pic, then save as html?
I don't use Windows Live. Maybe it's just that, Thunderbird doesn't seem to care what file it is.

1121057 2010-07-22 23:09:00 Hi Pctek,

That might be the answer-- I succeeded in sending myself a test e mail and the signature was there - but does not appear a template has been created

None the less I can follow your lastest reply and get that file converter
:clap

1121058 2010-07-23 02:16:00 Nvu isn't a file converter but there probably is one. Nvu is a website editing thing.
Free and easy to use though.
