1120827 2010-07-21 03:03:00 How much is a copy of Windows XP Home going to cost? QW. (15883)
1120828 2010-07-21 03:15:00 Around $150+ range (Ususally +) for an OEM copy from a computer store. Assuming you can find it. bob_doe_nz (92)
1120829 2010-07-21 03:20:00 Yup about $145+GST. And higher Speedy Gonzales (78)
1120830 2010-07-21 05:52:00 I thought it would be around that price. Now just got to find it. QW. (15883)
1120831 2010-07-21 05:59:00 thats very expensive don't you think? goodiesguy (15316)
1120832 2010-07-21 06:31:00 The prices mentioned were about right for XP HM OEM.

Biggest problem is finding someone who has it for sale still.

Microsoft have stopped supplying it to retail outlets and whole sale distributors some time back - so the only places that may have it still are shops with old stock.

1120833 2010-07-21 06:47:00 If you're in Auckland, you can have this version of Home if you want it (OEM). I no longer use it. Haven't installed / used it for the last 3-4 yrs.

And I've still got the sticker thing for it. Its stuck to the side of my cd spindle thing atm

1120836 2010-07-21 07:36:00 Go to TradeMe and get a used computer with XP Home OEM installed and COA for under $50. You probably won't get the installation disc however, but you will own the rights to use a copy of XP Home. Paul.Cov (425)
