2010-07-20 07:48:00 | i like to play all kinds but my old computer cant play morrowind unless it on the lowest possible settings. the games i would like to play are games like "Total War Empire" and im also a big fan of RPGs | jlanauze (15365) | |
2010-07-20 09:34:00 | I think this would be better than the GTX 460 its 1GB and is roughly the same in price and performance www.computerlounge.co.nz If you had the money the ATI 5850 is better for gaming but not sure if the difference would be noticeable for Total War Empire. However do your research into a graphics card carefully, I will say not everyone likes the 5830, no voltage control.

2010-07-20 20:53:00 | RPGs not too high end so it should do. | pctek (84) | |
2010-07-20 21:22:00 | I agree with pctek, that system is fine and will run the games you like to play and have mentioned. RPGs are deffinitly not graphical hungary | GreacherTech (15784) | |
2010-07-20 22:38:00 | Get the 1Gb version of the 460, NOT the 768Mb | SolMiester (139) | |
2010-07-20 23:41:00 | Get the 1Gb version of the 460, NOT the 768Mb +1 , the 1GB version performs much better for almost the same price, especially at any sort of decent resolution. And people saying RPGs aren't graphics intensive never played Oblivion at launch eh? Heh.

The GTX460 is at least 30% faster than the crippled 5838! www.anandtech.com Thats a poor recommendation! |
