| 1454504 | 2018-10-17 18:51:00 | Anyone see tonight's episode? Haven't had chance to fully watch it yet but I drive past this property every day its only about 1Km from our place It seems to look alright in the end. A lot of skiled work and certainly not the cheapest way to build but it looks like they got what they wanted. |

| 1454506 | 2018-10-18 09:12:00 | Just managed to watch this on demand, must say the 16 months seems to be not quite right. We have been here 18 months and they had already started. It does look fantastic in real life but wow talk about cost overload, the rumour mill said they were way over budget and they confirmed it on the show, mind you they did go with the most expensive building firm in town although he is their neighbour too. One thing nobody can see is they don't seem to have had to put any firefighting water tanks in yet the council is forcing everyone else to including me. Even though I have 5 30000L tanks on my boundary as well as a pond, stream and pool next door, but as they are not on my property I have to store 450000L that I cannot have access only the fire service can. It has put a few peoples noses out of joint around here. I must admit I love the Redwood cladding but timber cladding here really suffers in the extremes of temperatures we get so will be interesting to see how it holds up. |
