1453964 2018-10-01 14:22:00 For youse guys who understand aviation radio communication between aircraft and ground control .

. be/Lg73GKm7GgI" target="_blank">youtu . be

I nearly fall off my chair every time I listen to this . In case youse guys wonder, it's in English, if that's not too much of a problem . . . . . . . . .

PS . . . . . we're having snog here today in Montana . "SNOG"? "What's that?" you ask?

1/2 snow & 1/2 fog = snog .

We are also 20 degrees Fahrenheit BELOW NORMAL for this period in this month/season according to the tea leaves .

1453965 2018-10-01 17:36:00 Is that real English or your countries alphabetically challenged version in the video? Don't have time to watch before heading out the door this morning gary67 (56)
1453966 2018-10-01 21:18:00 The vid is a voiceover of a US Air Force pilot of an SR71, the Blackbird, while she was giving an oration for an audience .

The monolog picks up as she's flying around and her 2nd seat co-pilot unequivocally and totally communicates with Ground Control, Los Angeles, California from somewhere over Nebraska . . . mebee . . . (I lost that part of the communication . . . . . I was laughing pretty hard at that point) .

The English these people use is pretty well universal . They HAVE to understand each other, and since English is the only Ground Control language they are allowed to use for all international pilots, youse guys should be able to discern it for yerselves .

It might help youse guyses (that's plural: 'guyse' is singular --- 'guyses' is plural . . . . . . See? Isn't English fun?) . . . . . . . . if youse held youse tablets or screens upsidedown to help understand .

No matter what, this is indeed funny and has been kicking around the internet for a while .

I just thought my buds in Upsidedown Land would like it .

1453967 2018-10-02 06:32:00 I'll be gone for a couple of days .

Going to Kalispell, MT to see a retina specialist .

I have a melanoma in my right eye - inoperable and un-aspirational at the same time . It is directly on the outer edge of my optic nerve so they cannot radioactively 'seed' it to make it go away . .

It is fed by multiple blood vessels that go through it and if they are ruptured, - well ---

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . the retina is actually an extension of the brain --- so I'd get instantaneous brain cancer .

So - I'll be gone a couple of days .

Geez . . . . . inoperable?
Why can't they just take the eye out? Drastic I know, but you can get along just fine with only one .
