| 1452336 | 2018-08-06 13:59:00 | This is a different problem so again I tried to install Quake 4 and I got " Error Number 0X80040702 Description failed to load DLL: CDkey Setup will now terminate" So now it doesn't recognize my CD numbers and it doesn't give me the DLL file so I'm now sure what to do now? |

Normally you need to register the DLL since it seems maybe Win7 cannot or does not do this anymore but since there's no name given, it makes it harder. There should be a tool that can monitor the installation files, so you can get an idea of which DLL is being installed, you then can register each one, or at least stick them in the windows system folder or at a guess, just put all the DLL files from quake 4's location in the systems folder. |
