1452172 2018-07-30 07:49:00 I am a tech guy in middle and recently found out an issue with Surface Pro 4. Previously, I have successfully reset login password on several PCs and laptops, running Windows 7 to latest Windows 10. No issue at all. But I can't figure out a way to do it on SP4.

P.S i have disabled secure boot in Settings.

Hope someone could shed lights on this matter

Unfortunately, it is a local account.

1452175 2018-07-31 07:18:00 I smell spam coming... perhaps a post on a product that will allow you to reset any password on a Windows device including a Surface Pro 4!

Or perhaps the Surface Pro is stolen and that's why the OP doesn't know the login credentials?

Pure speculation of course... but if you've forked out the money for a Surface Pro 4 how did you "forget" your own password... just saying #SOUNDSDODGYTOME.

Also Secure Boot deals with the BIOS/Firmware detecting UEFI boot devices, so even if you disabled that and the device managed to boot up it will have no effect if you don't know the login credentials.

What did you do before ? Do you have any other accounts on your device?

Tried a few tools like Ophcrack, iSunshare, NT Password, none of them worked. That is why I am seeking help in here. thanks

That sounds so bad ,OphCrack should be enough to help you ,try this one:[edit] , if you don't mind paying its price
