I didn't watch that video, but is that the story that includes the part about the aircraft asking permission to fly at 70,000 feet? The tower basically scoffs and says, "if you can get there", and the Lockheed comms guy says 'decreasing altitude to 70,000 feet' or something along those lines. Think some of those pilots must have had a bit of fun in those aircraft. Does the Skunk Works still exist? If so, you really wonder what those nutters are cooking up in there now. |

The problem is that they use different machines to measure it and they have certain qualities that make uit look bigger or smaller (smaller doesn't happen though). Yes -- removing the eye is a good idea except that the right eye sees fairly normally, and the left eye (because of some scars on the cornea) sees multiple images. I look at the moon and see three of them. I'd like to keep my driver's license which may not be an option if the right eye is removed. The doc is setting me up for some brain scans to see if the cancer is trying to enter the skull or not. He doesn't think it's so, but has to test for that. Thanks all for the nice comments. |
