1453920 2018-10-02 09:29:00 That's because the graph is showing discounted petrol prices as of the first week of January, not advertised prices as of today. It does really help to read the graph before you critique it. :)

Pretty bloody useless for a Then and NOW comparison then :devil

1453921 2018-10-02 10:16:00 Pretty bloody useless for a Then and NOW comparison then :devilI completely agree. It also picks a month which must have had an exceptionally low petrol price. It's pretty clearly designed to be misleading, and for that reason, it's crap. Nick G (16709)

1453923 2018-10-02 20:05:00 Only if you only look at money :) as above, there's far greater benefits to increased public transport use than just money.

I look at the money , because thats whats used to pay for it all :)

Add to that, its borrowed money paying for it. Ak is near bankrupt from all the debt & overspending .
It will be the next generation who have to eventually pay back all the loans , not us. We cant continuously rack up govt/council debt for the next gen to pay for.

1453924 2018-10-02 23:38:00 We'd better stop spending all our money on motorways that only make back 20c per dollar spent then :) pcuser42 (130)

But, it is infinitely higher ROR than cycleways. Motorways move a shade more ton-miles too.
