1451631 2018-07-18 10:45:00 PM on its way.Yep so these guys a fully digital not traditional print. I do both. Did you read my post about colour space and setting it to single colour and make sure it’s set to black if that is an option. I can’t check as I don’t have publisher. And then export from to commercial printer. The equipment your printer is using has the capability to do what you want. There workflow may not, but I doubt that. So I would say it might be a pain in the ass designer you are dealing with(there is no other kind). Or unfortunately using a publisher, but even then using colour space as single should be fine plod (107)

OK, I'm officially confused (not an unusual condition these days...). "My post" - do you mean the link you provided? The link doesn't say anything about colour space as far as I could see - or am I missing something?

1451637 2018-07-23 03:32:00 Funny, I just saw that page after a search of my own. The thing is, MS changed the options available after Publisher 2013 and the options described on that page don't exist any more - there has been lots of negative feedback about it. So I can't check that out with Publisher 2016, but the newsletter editor has Publisher 2013 so I'll have a sit down with her and see if we can nut anything out.

The DeviceRGB and DeviceGrey options I describe in my earlier posts show up when I inspect the PDF output with Acrobat. They aren't available to change in Publisher 2016 (but maybe in Publisher 2013).

The urgency has gone somewhat as we have discovered (thanks Wainuitech) that Nitro PDF and others will produce PDFs with DeviceGrey, which will print satisfactorily.
