Sounds like a mechanical problem with the right mouse button to me. Have a look at your mouse model on Google and Youtube you may find repair suggestions there.

I installed my wife's mouse and everything is now working Honky Dorey.

1452238 2018-08-04 08:19:00 What was the model number? I've just fixed my Logitech M310t. The button is actually a metal sheet divided into two. Each one makes L & R buttons. It was a case of using a thin knife blade to create a fulcrum and bending the offending metal leaf towards the base of the mouse to create a good contact. God knows how long it will be before I need to do it again! Bryan (147)
