1122402 2010-07-26 05:52:00 Hey
I have a problem with Ubuntu. When I download the latest Ubuntu and get it install it advises me to restart the computer so I do. Then I select Ubuntu on the OS list, which is the first thing that comes out when I start my computer if I have multipy OS. So when I choose Ubuntu it just logs on to Windows 7. Why?
Thanks

1122403 2010-07-26 07:58:00 Presumably because it is misconfigured ;) fred_fish (15241)
1122404 2010-07-26 08:39:00 No bite? :devil

You need to provide more information.
What is the layout of your disk?
What are the parameters of the GRUB (presumably) entry for Ubuntu?

1122407 2010-07-27 06:48:00 Has it always happened like this or have you been able to boot previously? If it's your first boot, then just reinstall Ubuntu over top of itself... Chilling_Silence (9)
1122408 2010-07-27 08:48:00 I have tried that but it is not going to work. It works with Demo mode but thats nothing as I can not safe anything! AZ1 (15478)
1122409 2010-07-27 10:33:00 Try re-writing that sentence please.

You've tried it, but it is not going to work? Past tense + future tense = ??

You can not "safe" anything?
