| 1121937 | 2010-07-24 06:17:00 | I have 3 computers, an Asus Eee701 on XP, an Asus Desk top on Windows7 Ultimate, and a Dell Vostro on Windows7 Pro. The Eee & Asus desk top produce £ with Alt 156, and the Dell produces £ with Alt 163. ( Fn+Alt on the laptops). The Dell produces with FnAlt 156. Why should this be? They are all set on US keyboard, and all have English and Chinese PRC installed. If I set the Dell to English Keyboard the # key produces a square. Same setting on the others produces £. If I paste a £ into the Dell it turns into a square! |
