1121974 2010-07-26 04:52:00 I bought a one-week old Razer Mamba for $120 on GP. :D

Not a bad deal for $120, but I will never buy it new at that price.....it's worth nowhere near $200, but for $120 it's pretty good.

1121975 2010-07-26 06:17:00 Anything Razer or a Saitek Optical Mouse (pcperipherals.saitek.com) Honestly the nicest computer mouse I have EVER used, and got it for $20 from the warehouse. Or $9 on trademe: www.trademe.co.nz I think (not sure) the trademe one is the right one.

BTW the one on the Saitek website the colour's not right (the red is darker).

1121977 2010-07-26 11:43:00 I have me a G500 on the way, even get a Razor Frag something or other mousepad to go with! Will post back with my thoughts on its goodlyness hueybot3000 (3646)
1121978 2010-07-26 21:18:00 The original G5 was known for its scroll wheel issues, where you click the wheel down but it would sense it as a scroll as well and all hell breaks loose on your screen. Especially when tryin to use a scope in FPS and it changes weapon instead!

By latest mouseware you mean Setpoint? I have never found in particularly useful, was never enough features on the G5 to need it anyway.

They are still a bloody nice mouse though, flatmate has the G9 and I think it was a step back for them. It's kinda comfortable but really ugly and big

I agree, I got a G5 3.5 years ago and it is still going strong, jst like new, it is this one here and I wonder what version is it?

www.productwiki.com

when i saw your thread i was gonna recommend a G5 but since you have one already i would probably recommend this:

store.razerzone.com

If memory is right PC world did a review on it and it sounded very good.

1121979 2010-07-28 10:28:00 G500 turned up in the mail today, pretty quick seeing as it was picked up from computer lounge at 6pm last night. Anyway so far im impressed. Its quite a bit lighter to the G5 but much the same shape, buttons will take a bit of gettin used to but they are well placed.
And trackin is amazing. Recommend it to anyone wanting a decent gaming mouse. And at $100 its worth every cent

The mistake is with the website that is selling the device for $3.95, actually. Pricespy works similarly to Google - i.e. a web crawler. The items and their corresponding listed on the Pricespy website are according to what their bots have discovered on the online retailer websites.

Cheers :)
