But Christains that shove it in your face really piss me off. Example below (a comment send to me on Facebook) Your Friend is what gives Christians a bad name. Maybe if we removed religion from God things would be better. or am I on a different planet. |

If, in search of "World Domination (tm)", you have need/desire to control the unwashed masses what better way than to have an omnipotent unseen "spy who sees everything" who can bring down a plague of locusts on your rebellious posterior if you happen to step outside the status-quo . Naturally a little bit of Martyrdom/Crusading/Inquisiting/Witch burning by the minions in the corporeal realm to help things along doesn't go amiss in the power establishment stakes either . Of course no-one ever explains why all this slaughter and mayhem by earthly servants was/is necessary when the Big Guy (To whom we should give thanks for Pineapple lumps) can turn the recalcitrant into a tall block of condiment just for looking in the wrong direction . That people follow these idealogues only goes to prove a well known tenet among Dolphins: Humans are weird! |
