| 1121954 | 2010-07-24 11:03:00 | The original G5 was known for its scroll wheel issues, where you click the wheel down but it would sense it as a scroll as well and all hell breaks loose on your screen. Especially when tryin to use a scope in FPS and it changes weapon instead! By latest mouseware you mean Setpoint? I have never found in particularly useful, was never enough features on the G5 to need it anyway. They are still a bloody nice mouse though, flatmate has the G9 and I think it was a step back for them. It's kinda comfortable but really ugly and big yeah, that is annoying but there are so many buttons on the new one it really doesn't bother me, I use to use the left and right scroll clicks for different things and just ignore the middle click, but because setpoint is stuffed I can't use it at the moment, I'm emailing tech support about it now. |

Oh, just checked their site and it's not listed... all dearer single wheel models instead. Another consideration is a trackball, which I'm told are good for the ace gamers. |

Taking the rubber track ball out and having a great time doing all those weird and wacky things that you come up with in 3rd form. 2. getting some mate together to see who can destroy the de-tracked mouse in the quickest time (those old mice were craaazy tough though) Then I'd take all the PS/2 and USB cables and stash them. looking back on this my younger years were screwed :drool | The Error Guy (14052) | ||
| 1121959 | 2010-07-24 22:36:00 | I just recently moved from an original g5 to the new g500 which is basically the guts of a g9 ( so newer laser etc ) in the body of a g5, couldn't be happier really. | lagbort (5041) | ||
