| 836388 | 2009-12-05 08:19:00 | Since my uni days I vow to never use a laptop again unless my work life dictates it. At uni, all it did was sat at my desk going to the lib a few times a year. It was $$ and not upgradeable. Now I got a desktop that is all I want. Don't need to be tied to a computer all day so it is fine. On travel rather not spend the money for a netbook and do with the luggage weight, I have learnt to pack very light, like 5kg if you exclude the SLR camera gear and tripod :D |

| 836390 | 2009-12-05 09:06:00 | I use a laptop exclusively, don't own a desktop. I don't game, and a 1.66GHz Core 2 Duo with 3GB of RAM and a 250GB HDD is enough for my requirements. I like being able to work in any place I like, and I like being able to take my laptop to jobs, on holiday, etc, without having to worry about having files that are stored on a desktop. There is a desktop in the house which is not mine, which I occasionally use to test parts etc. So, if I moved home then as a PC tech I would need to buy a cheap work desktop but I would not use this often. |

| 836397 | 2009-12-06 02:33:00 | I use my Gaming Desktop with dual monitors - 24 and 20inch when at home, or at night. When doing something and want to watch T.V, or when I was at school, or working on PCs else where I take my laptop. |
