837553 2009-12-09 01:52:00 Hey Joe, thanks for the offer, but I think our customs would get a bit suspicious with lots of "PF1membername enlargement operation video" on it.

I beg to differ -

They'd fer sure send it right through as that PF1 reputation precedes the sad facts - it's vitally NEEDED!

Enyway - I've noticed that I have four changes of zone restrictions allowed on all my optical drives - at least in the DVD-side. Don't they trust youse guys to play fair? ("they" here is a pejorative, not assumptive).

All DVD drives have 4 changes as far as I know.

It's standalone DVD players that seem to be all multizone now (at least the ones here are)

But you can fix that problem with a modified firmware for your drive or any of several programs

Some DVD players can be set to multizone if you know the right keys to press on the remote. or you can hack the firmware for those, too.

Not necessarily, at least 1 brand was supplied as is and customers that want multizone are referred to the service agent for a free fix. Disabling zoning restrictions is not illegal in NZ.
