| 1122702 | 2010-07-27 04:22:00 | Hi guys. I have Windows XP Home, SP3, all updates, etc and 768, unshared, ram. Had to do a system reload, again, a few weeks back. Now find if I try to run an installer program, box comes up and says I need administrator rights. :badpc::badpc::badpc:: I only have one user, what Windows set up it's self and it says I do have administrator rights. Tried to restart in Safe mode and chose Administrator, couldn't run installer then, either. Man I'm not half getting sick of this sodden windows stuff. Love to use a full Linux setup, but wife is a tad technophopic, so that not gona happen any time soon. Any helpful advise is appreciated. Ian |
