1123719 2010-08-01 11:16:00 So have you tried it? If so do you have any comments? Snorkbox (15764)
1123720 2010-08-01 15:56:00 It made some suggestions to speed up my boot process. Which I didn't implement as my startup is pretty clean as it is. I would of gained a whole "5" seconds bootup improvement.

Someone with a slow bootup need to give it a try.

1123721 2010-08-01 21:44:00 What is Soluto Beta?

Soluto Beta allows you to understand your boot, discover which applications are slowing it down (and keep running later in the background, affecting your ongoing experience), and allows you to significantly improve it. While Soluto Beta focuses on the boot, it already researches for frustrations and helps map the PC Genome, and allows you to share your wisdom with others.

1123725 2010-08-02 07:07:00 please don't use BOOTVIS

Why not? I reckon it helped me find reasons for slow booting.

1123726 2010-08-02 21:08:00 tried on my old "junkers" PC that I use for testing. its your general sort of home user PC with plenty of startup items etc. it made a decent improvement however the soluto start process take 15s on it (Pentium dual core @ 1.6GHz 1.5gb RAM. did nothing for my laptop. its pretty clean. still nice interface and give some nice explanations as to what each start item and service does with a recommendation too.
