2009-12-16 09:22:00 | Try Fair Go.:) Waste of time, it wouldn't make good television, and no disrespect intended, but just about everybody who has a normal quota of intelligence knows by now that buying from Parallel Imports is as risky as buying a phone or anything else out of the boot of a car behind the pub. If you don't get caught out it's all sweet as, but if you do get caught you wish like hell you'd bought over the counter somewhere (anywhere) else. Cheers Billy 8-{)

2009-12-17 23:41:00 | I mean their product isnt that bad, it does work, atleast I did have it for a couple of month before one its speakers gave up. Its their lack of knowledge on where my item is that annoys me. Though in regards to the CGA, I know s.18 allows consumers to have items repaired by 3rd party and have the expense paid by the company, was wondering if any one know if I can use this section in this situation.

2009-12-18 00:10:00 | Well if you don't know where it is it will be somewhat difficult to give it to a third party. | Sweep (90) | |
2009-12-18 06:04:00 | Shouldnt had said that they dont know where it is, they just dont know the status of the work. All PI know is that it is at the service center, like I dont know that. I thought maybe I could demand the item to be sent back and have it fixed by a 3rd party and have PI pay for the expense, as under s.18 of CGA. | CCF (6760) | |
2009-12-18 06:37:00 | Noel Leeming did that to me with a 4x CDROM + Soundcard in 1995, family just went with it, I did the papers for the consumer tribnunal, next time they were told to juts help themselves at the shelf. They said soundcard back to Singapore and keep on saying, not heard back from Singapore. Oh and when we first bought it before it broke down there was a installation fault with the drivers. They thought we were stupid until other customers took it back too. The tech said bring your PC in and he would install it, then the salesman said it would cost us. I asked the tech, and he said he doesn't know if there was a cost and need to check with sales. :waughh:
