| 1124034 | 2010-08-02 13:02:00 | Hi, Is there anyone in Christchurch who has an EEPROM programmer that could write BIOS onto my Abit AX78 CMOS chip? I tried flashing the BIOS a while ago, and it crashed, so now I have a brick. |

| 1124039 | 2010-08-04 01:30:00 | Your chip is a 25L8005 from Macronix, and apparently supported by my programmer. However, they don't provide a socket to insert the EEPROM directly (only provide a pin header) so it looks like I will need to make an adapter first. If you don't mind waiting a couple of days or so while I get that worked out it should indeed be possible to re-program it for you. |
