Plug it in and see what it says. Go to device manager after you've plugged it in. If drivers don't install, dbl click on the details tab change it to hardware ids, copy and paste what it says here in here |

Looks like a BT or IR receiver so could be for a wireless mouse or KB? |

Its a Bluetooth adapter, most likely came with a wireless keyboard or mouse |

lol, once one persons said it, everyone else is a spammer but i also say its a mouse. could it also be a bluetooth adapter? my laptop can connect to bluetooth devices and it might do the same. |
